Kirk spent 17 years as a group health insurance broker before launching Medicare Simplified KC in 2012–and he’s been focused on the senior health marketplace ever since. Clients, friends, and family know Kirk for his candor, high ethical standards, professionalism, and his willingness to go above and beyond for his clients. For Kirk, the best part of his job is providing clarity and peace of mind in a process that is stressful and confusing for many. He is also a retired, service-disabled veteran, and he’s proud to operate a business with a track record of helping other veterans get their wellness needs met. In his off-time, Kirk enjoys watching sports and traveling RV-style.

Lori joined Medicare Simplified KC in 2017 after a successful sales career in the promotional items industry. She takes pride in her client advocacy, where she leads with her empathy and concern for those around her. Lori is also committed to her community. She’s a certified aid worker and has assisted with disaster relief emergencies in Kentucky, Missouri, and Romania, in addition to her volunteer work with multiple organizations that ensure quality of life for seniors. Lori is a mother to two amazing children, and in her free time enjoys staying active through cycling, pickleball, and golf.

Lori is licensed in Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas, Nebraska, North Carolina, Michigan, Indiana, and Florida.

Mackenzie Peterson

Mackenzie has been a dedicated broker with Medicare Simplified KC for the past two years. A 2016 graduate of Missouri State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mackenzie has a strong foundation in understanding consumer needs and effectively communicating solutions. Mackenzie came to health insurance out of a desire to help people: She loves ensuring that her clients are protected–and that they understand why it’s so important to have coverage.

After a highly successful career in the hospitality industry, Richard joined Medicare Simplified KC in 2021 and quickly established himself as a knowledgeable, empathetic, and service-focused client advocate. His clients know him as accessible, responsive, and always willing to go the extra mile to be of assistance. A graduate of the University of Kansas, he is a huge fan of Jayhawk basketball, as well as the Kansas City Royals and Chiefs.
